Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®
Celebrating 95 Years of Being First, Finest & Foremost
Chartered on June 6, 1929, Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was the first graduate chapter established in the DFW Metroplex. Since its founding, the chapter has been an integral part of the Dallas Community in the delivery of programs and educational initiatives that fulfill our mission. We are committed to axiomatic service that uplifts our community. It is our delight to render meaningful, authentic, thoughtful, involved, Community focused service.
Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, we embrace and promote her administration’s programs of service, “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood”. International Program Initiatives are Strengthen our Sisterhood, Empower our Families, Build our Economic Wealth, Enhance our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift our Local Community.
In addition to these initiatives, we are equally committed to signature programs unique to Alpha Xi Omega Chapter such as Camp Jubilee for Children with Sickle Cell Anemia. Through our philanthropic arm, Ivy and Pearl Foundation of Dallas, we provide scholarships to deserving scholars.
We invite you to explore our website for details on events and scholarship opportunities, as well as how to designate contributions and contact us regarding collaborative projects in the community.
