Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® Alpha Xi Omega Chapter
Chartered in 1929, Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, was the first graduate chapter established in the DFW Metroplex. Since its founding, the chapter has been an integral part of the Dallas Community in the delivery of programs and educational activities that fulfill our mission. We are committed to excellent service for the greater good of our community.
Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, we embrace her administration’s program of service; “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood”. Through the International Program initiatives, Target 1 - Strengthen our Sisterhood, Target 2 - Empower our Families, Target 3 - Building Our Economic Wealth, Target 4 - Enhance our Environment, Target 5 - Advocate for Social Justice, and Target 6 - Uplift our Local Community
In addition to these initiatives, we are equally devoted to signature programs unique to Alpha Xi Omega Chapter, such as Camp Jubilee for children with Sickle Cell Anemia. Through our philanthropic arm, Ivy & Pearl Foundation of Dallas, we provide scholarships to deserving students, as well as grants to organizations serving underprivileged women and children.
We invite you to explore our website for details on events and scholarship opportunities, as well as how to designate contributions and contact us regarding collaborative projects in the community.
Thank you for your continued support of our community service activities and programs.
